Location:

Birmingham

Salary:

Circa £50,000 to £58,000 per annum (doe) plus a bonus and a flexi benefits package

Company Overview: Pillar Partnership are exclusively representing a growing, independent consulting practice, who are experiencing a period of extreme (and impressive!) growth, as they look to bolster their new Birmingham office. You would be the second hire within their Birmingham office, presenting a significant growth opportunity.

About Our Client: Our client is an SME, independent consultancy with a growing reputation in the market. Born out of one of the larger practices, they deliver professional cost management and fund monitoring services across various construction sector schemes, including residential, PBSA, commercial, retail, and care homes (projects can range from £1-2m to £100m+). They believe in constant learning and consider themselves a “training business,” promoting continuous improvement through training workshops, mentoring, and other initiatives. They offer a clearly defined career path, providing clarity on progress through the business to eventual Directorship.

Role Overview: Due to continued growth, our client is looking for individuals with analytical skills who are determined and ambitious and are interested in working in an environment where they are trusted and encouraged to excel. This role will be based in their Birmingham office, and you will either be an existing fund monitor or a Senior MRICS QS looking to take on a hybrid role of Quantity Surveying and Fund Monitoring.

Ideal Candidate: Our client is ideally seeking the following:

Significant cost management/quantity surveying experience in a UK consulting environment OR an existing Fund Monitor. Project experience in residential, commercial, PBSA, retail, or leisure sectors preferred. Relevant construction/engineering degree. MRICS preferred. Good written report writing skills and stakeholder management experience. Eligible to work in the UK.

Compensation: On offer for this role is a basic salary of up to £58,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) plus a flexible benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and a leading bonus of up to 20% per annum (payable twice per year).

About Pillar Partnership: Pillar Partnership specializes in white-collar roles across the UK and EMEA regions, with clients including international and SME PQS consulting firms, property consultancies, developers, and “end-clients” from various sectors including retail, F&B, leisure, and banking. If you're interested in a confidential discussion about your situation, please reach out to one of the London construction team or apply for immediate consideration.

Services advertised by Pillar Partnership are those of an employment business and/or agency.
