We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join the team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on the Southern Renewals Enterprise. The project will total 5+5 years of multiple individual schemes across Network Rail's Southern Route (Kent, Sussex & Wessex). You will commercially manage several concurrent schemes at differing stages. Projects are split into three portfolios of work: Buildings - station buildings, platform construction, upgrades and extensions, canopies, footbridges including all types of M&E works. Earthworks & Drainage - embankment reconstructions, slope stabilisations, track drainage renewals and refurbishments etc. Structures - Tunnels, New & Replacement Bridges, Access for All, Structural Refurbishments and Retaining Structures. About you An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES). Alternatively, a degree with some numerical or technical background is advantageous. Relevant HND subjects include building/construction, urban and land studies, civil engineering, and structural. Adequate experience as a QS. A degree in QS and relevant experience obtained (desirable). Highly experienced in NEC forms of contract. Experience working on civils/rail projects would be desirable.
