Our client is a rail and civil engineering contractor with many years' experience delivering world-class projects across the UK and they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor located in Walsall.

You must have a proven track record working in a similar role with a contractor and be able to liaise with clients. Career progression and stability of work on a range of projects will be available.

Main Duties for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Monthly reports Must be able to work independently Regularly chair meetings Commercial management of subcontractors Ability to support and mentor junior members of the team

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying Understanding of current construction law Ability to deal with large quantities of data Strong knowledge and experience with NEC4 or NE4 forms of contract Proven experience in the civil engineering and water sectors Experience working for a contractor

Desirable:

CSCS card Member of RICS or working toward membership
