Due to a number of exciting new project wins, Caddick Construction Midlands region have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Commercial team.

Overview
This role will work alongside the Regional Commercial Manager on a high-rise residential project in Birmingham. The role is site-based and will provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which they are responsible, ensuring they are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working for a Contractor. Familiarity with JCT/NEC/ICE forms of contract and knowledge of current Construction Law, together with experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations, and a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis, is essential.
Required skills include the ability to work in a team environment, contributing across the business unit, good management skills, and the ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance, along with good operational planning and time management skills.
