I currently have a requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client on a contract basis for their ongoing project at Hinkley Point C. This client is responsible for the delivery on the installation of Gamma Ray Doors at the Nuclear Power Station. Start date - 9th December Contract Assignment - Outside IR35 The client is ideally looking for someone who holds active BPSS Clearance, or already holds access for Hinkley Point C. December 2025 Key Responsibilities and Achievements: Accurate management of cost, including commercial pricing of work. Review weekly/monthly management accounts and critical performance information and see where areas of improvement can be made for margin. Monitoring and maintaining the data within the Site Works Management System. Ensuring the prompt and precise invoicing of all work carried out within the Site project and meeting client-specified application/invoice dates. Manage the Early Warning and Compensation Event process as set out in the NEC form of Contract through the use of CEMAR. Attend Risk Reduction meetings with the Project Manager and manage project risks. Manage client disputes (Claims/variations) face to face or via teams and create a strong client link. Respond to Client enquiries and communicate in a timely manner that is in line with the company ethos. Follow all delays on site due to client issues, other contractors, and non-performance of site personnel, and make claims for delays through CEMAR to the client. Create In-Contract pricing, estimates, and quotations and follow through to final account settlement. Assist the site project manager on cost issues. Site walk and monitoring of subcontractor's cost performance. Preparation of budget/forecast for the purpose of Purchase orders. Help to prepare revenue reports to facilitate the preparation and publication of monthly management accounts. Inventory management of client's assets, plant, and machinery.
