My client is a leading main contractor, recognised for building large-scale RC Frame residential projects and high specification offices across London. They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead role on a £200m new build project in West London.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the day to day management of a small team of site based Quantity Surveyors. The project includes construction of a number of blocks including a 30 storey landmark tower which, once complete, will be one of the tallest buildings in the borough.
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will: Oversee all commercial aspects of the project from inception to completion. Manage budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting to ensure profitability. Lead subcontractor procurement, contract management, and payment processes. Collaborate closely with project teams to achieve programme milestones and maintain quality standards. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, working within the framework of NEC or JCT contracts.
Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience as a Senior QS or Commercial Lead on large RC frame residential projects for a UK based main contractor. You'll also need exceptional commercial acumen, leadership skills and the ability to manage large, complex and high value construction projects.
