DCT Recruitment are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client based in the city centre of London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying, with expertise in NEC4 contracts and construction law. You will be expected to work in London, with regular travel to Deeside (2-3 days per week, Tuesday to Thursday) until the completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full range of Quantity Surveying duties across the project Provide accurate cost management, budgeting, and forecasting Administer and manage NEC4 contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms Oversee cost reporting and financial management for the project Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement, including negotiations Monitor and control project costs to ensure financial targets are met Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to resolve issues Maintain effective communication between the client and project team Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly around construction law

Experience and Skills Required:

A minimum of 5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying, with a proven track record in senior roles In-depth knowledge of NEC4 contracts and construction law Previous experience working on large-scale construction projects Ability to manage and mentor junior team members Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong attention to detail and financial acumen Ability to travel to Deeside (2-3 days per week) for project work Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., MRICS preferred)

Salary (£85k - £100k per year) Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
