Salary: GBP80000 - GBP90000 per annum I am currently representing a client of mine who are in the market for a senior level Quantity Surveyor. My client has offices located all over the UK with a head office in London. This company operates in most sectors, but the successful candidate will be working on a mix of schools, prisons, and commercial projects. You will be based out of their Colchester office. Key Responsibilities: Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for multiple projects. Manage procurement strategies and subcontractor agreements. Conduct valuations, financial forecasts, and cost analysis. Mentor and guide junior surveyors. Ensure compliance with contracts, health, safety, and environmental standards. Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers. Minimum Requirements: 5+ years' experience in quantity surveying, with expertise in commercial, prison, or school projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT, NEC). Strong understanding of carrying out variation orders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
