Joining a successful developer in Exeter with a huge land bank and a further 5 sites due to start this year!
Seeking knowledgeable and proven senior surveyor or experienced surveyor to join their team. Reporting to the Commercial Director whilst overseeing 2 projects, one of which is a new site of 250 plus units.
You will take full commercial responsibility for the sites including: Subcontractor management Financial reporting Cost control Variations and payment recommendations Valuations Identifying risk CVR reporting Final account management
Applicants should possess the following experience and attributes: A housing development background with either a contractor or developer. Strong commercial awareness Good knowledge of building regulations Experience of undertaking CVRs Ideally you will have used COINS or similar Accustomed to running your own schemes Ideally qualified to degree or HNC level in Construction or Quantity Surveying or working towards Excellent communication skills Strong negotiation skills Fully IT literate Strong reporting skills A team player Organised
