is seeking an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing construction firm. This role offers an opportunity to lead high-value projects, provide strategic financial oversight, and drive commercial success. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and a proven track record in managing complex projects. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all commercial and financial aspects of large-scale projects from inception to completion. Lead contract reviews, identify risks, and ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Prepare and manage detailed cost projections, valuations, and final accounts. Negotiate contracts and variations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize profitability. Provide strategic advice to operational teams, ensuring projects meet financial and operational targets. Ensure timely and accurate reporting on project performance and profitability. Mentor and guide junior surveyors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement commercial strategies. Requirements: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (Chartered status preferred). Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Extensive knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial management best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Financial acumen with a strategic mindset.
