Senior Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks
Salary: £55,000 - £80,000

Established many years ago, this Cambridgeshire based Civil Engineering Contractor specializes in groundworks, remediation, and civils projects. They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent full-time basis.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role:
Focusing on groundwork related subcontract packages, predominantly for residential housing projects, you will be responsible for the commercial aspects of multiple projects, working closely with the Commercial Director and the project team. Key accountabilities:
Maximise the commercial position of the project while maintaining positive client relationships. Protect the contractual position by ensuring all obligations are discharged appropriately. Take active responsibility for commercial procedures in conjunction with the Commercial Director. Work alongside the production team to ensure contractual control and cost management across a wide range of projects for the region. Involve from initial enquiry through to project delivery. Manage all commercial aspects relating to the projects, achieving the highest standards to maintain the company's strong reputation. The Successful Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Experience in a similar Senior Level Quantity Surveyor role within a civil engineering / groundworks contractor. Ability to generate new relationships easily and committed to generating new business opportunities. Able to delegate effectively. Must have a high level of attention to detail.
