Team Structure This office has 3 Surveyors and a Senior Surveyor. Your role would initially involve shadowing the Senior Surveyor, with a focus on new-build leisure centres for David Lloyds.
The Role Supported by our Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation, processing, and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales. Assisting in the development of the procurement programme. Preparing and monitoring cash flow forecasts for designated projects. Preparing and submitting monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client's representative. Preparing monthly valuation reports. Submitting invoices for certified value and ensuring payments are received on time. Valuing and authorising payments to sub-contractors. Liaising with Contract Managers to establish project specifications and requirements. Attending and contributing to meetings with colleagues and/or Clients/Customers, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills. Monitoring contract progress, assessing, and reporting any changes that may affect project costs and/or timelines. Assisting in the control of contract budgets.
