One of the UK's largest civil engineering and infrastructure Main Contractors has an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a large Nuclear Power Plant. They are one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK, providing specialist multi-disciplinary engineering solutions to a wide range of markets. Their history dates back over 100 years, employing almost 1,000 people and currently turning over more than £600m per year. Their specialist capabilities are the heart of their business; as a supply chain partner, they work nationally to solve complex challenges in diverse environments. Their proven expertise includes delivering successful projects in sectors such as rail and depots, buildings, highways, airports, energy, and defence.
Sizewell C will provide decades of clean, reliable electricity for around 6 million homes, helping to build a greener energy system and protect households from high gas prices. Majority owned by the UK Government, Sizewell C is a British nuclear project that will strengthen our energy security while providing thousands of jobs across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure robust, accurate, and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level. Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place. Carry out cost management including forecasting. Update the monthly CVR, cost, and commercial plans. Have NEC experience. Civils background. Support junior members in the team. Be an all-rounder.
We are ideally looking for permanent candidates but will consider contractors with a steady career history.
