We have an immediately available, five month duration assignment for a Main Contractor's Senior Quantity Surveyor on a £40m retirement village development on site in the outskirts of Chester.
This is a large D&B contract and one of critical commercial importance to our client who needs to hire a very commercially astute, proactive, assertive QS to close out the last five months of the project's key subcontractor accounts as well as the final account for client submission and negotiation.
We therefore need someone who is strong at the fundamentals of works measurement, negotiation of variations, extras, and EOTs with a view to bringing all accounts to a financially satisfactory conclusion.
We are happy to accept applications from candidates who live elsewhere and would locate themselves near Chester for the period of the assignment.
A competitive day rate is offered from £400 to £500pd.
