My client, a leading global consultancy, is looking for a Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team to be an important part of a JV with a leading M&E contractor, supporting the delivery of Old Oak Common Station, the London interchange for HS2.
As a new 'super-hub', Old Oak Common Station is set to be the best-connected and largest new railway station ever constructed in Britain.
In this role, you'll play a key part in pre and post-contract management, procurement, and driving efficiencies on this prestigious project. Your expertise in contract management and supply chain engagement will be crucial to ensuring project success.

Qualifications and Experience:
Right to work in the UK. Educated to degree level and a member of a professional body. Experience working with main contractors. Proven experience administering NEC3/4 contracts (A/C/E essential; CEMAR knowledge desirable). Expertise in contract management, including evaluating high-value Compensation Events. Ability to lead financial monitoring and reporting for projects. Proactive in change and risk management. Skilled in negotiating and procuring sub-contract packages, ensuring value for money. Collaborative approach to relationship management with a long-term strategic focus. Experience developing and managing assistant and intermediate-level commercial team members.
