We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QS to oversee all commercial aspects of several ongoing fit out projects across various stages, including estimation, procurement, and cost management. This is an ongoing role ideal for a self-employed professional who thrives in dynamic environments, can manage projects of varying scales, and values collaboration and independent initiative. Responsibilities:

Lead commercial activities for capital projects, including estimating, budgeting, issuing RFPs, awarding contracts, and tracking expenditures. Prepare and communicate feasibility cost plans and detailed construction estimates, incorporating value engineering processes. Ensure best value procurement strategies and manage the tendering process in line with company policies. Negotiate and advise on commercial terms for construction contracts. Monitor and manage project cost risks and recommend improvements to cost control processes. Update internal cost catalogs and benchmarking data while maintaining a vetted pool of vendors. Provide leadership and support to design and development teams, ensuring cost-effective and innovative solutions. Oversee administrative tasks related to commercial management operations. Qualifications:

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying. 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating and contract management, particularly for interior fit-outs. Proficiency in contract negotiation and management, budgeting, and cost analysis. Experience with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, or Revit) and ERP systems is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively. Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace. Personal Attributes:
