Full-Time The position: Salter Grange is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of a £54 million cut and carve project in the London Borough of Haringey. This high-profile project involves transforming existing spaces into commercial offices with complex structural alterations and premium finishes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project budgets, including detailed cost reporting and forecasting Lead the procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the best value while maintaining quality and programme requirements Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and minimising risk Manage valuations, certify subcontractor payments, and ensure accurate record-keeping Assess variations, value changes, and negotiate with clients and contractors to ensure financial control Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities to ensure the project remains commercially viable Provide detailed cost reports and financial updates to the Commercial Manager and senior leadership Work closely with the site team, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial matters Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear updates and financial transparency throughout the project lifecycle Requirements: Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor on large-scale cut and carve or refurbishment projects Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field; membership with RICS or equivalent professional body is desirable Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment High level of accuracy in cost reporting and forecasting If you wish to be considered for this opportunity then please apply with your most up to date CV now.
