Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a fresh start on a unique project from inception to completion?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor on a prestigious civil engineering project. My client has delivered major infrastructure in the UK for several decades with a history of working on the country's most notable civil engineering projects. They are looking to onboard an individual with leadership, analytical thinking and initiative qualities.

Responsibilities include:

Contract Management:

Administering and managing

NEC contracts , ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, identifying risks, and resolving contractual issues. Budgeting and Forecasting:

Developing, monitoring, and updating detailed project budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with project goals and cost control measures. Procurement:

Leading the procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring value for money and adherence to project timelines. Cost Reporting:

Preparing and presenting regular cost reports to stakeholders, detailing progress, forecasts, and any potential financial risks. Change Management:

Evaluating variations and change orders, negotiating pricing, and ensuring documentation is accurate and timely. Risk and Opportunity Analysis:

Identifying financial risks and opportunities, and providing advice to mitigate risks while maximizing project value. Subcontractor Management:

Overseeing subcontractor agreements to ensure performance aligns with contract specifications and resolving any disputes efficiently. Stakeholder Liaison:

Collaborating with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on commercial matters. Compliance and Best Practices:

Ensuring adherence to industry standards, company policies, and legal requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The Company
