Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to work on a unique project in York? Do you want to commercially oversee a project worth more than £50 million in value?
TS Recruitment is actively working with a Main Contractor/Developer who is looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee a Grade 2 listed scheme with a value in excess of £50 million.

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:
Key Responsibilities
Commercially manage a high-end Grade 2 refurb/conversion project Based on site with full commercial responsibility for the prestigious development Carry out site measures, variations, and site meetings Manage subcontractor and supplier approvals and procurement processes Prepare and issue contracts Subcontractor approvals Produce Cost Value Reports (CVRs) Reconcile invoices and approve payments Prepare and submit accounts
About the Company
Working on a high-end Grade 2 listed building converting into apartments and new build housing. Project value is in excess of £50 million. Involvement in new build and refurbishment projects, focusing on luxury accommodation. Property values often range from £300,000 to £1 million plus. Comprehensive benefits package.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Experience:
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor Sector:
Construction main contractor or developer experience Education:
Degree-level qualification is advantageous Skills:
Strong IT and numerical proficiency License:
Valid UK driving license
