Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Testwood, Southampton
£50,000 - £60,000 p.a.

A water-sector leading solutions provider is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their Commercial Team, taking responsibility for the commercial management of projects at their Testwood site in Southampton.
In the Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you will report directly to the Commercial Manager, working collaboratively across their project teams to deliver industry-leading solutions in the water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out quantity surveying duties for project and work package management. Collaborate with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyse, and control costs. Work closely with clients to meet business and contractual requirements. Manage main contracts, ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are raised promptly. Prepare and issue subcontract documentation and assist in subcontractor performance management. Prepare and agree applications for payment and cost/value reports, budgets, and forecasts. Support and mentor junior commercial staff. Proactively engage in professional development, industry networking, and innovation updates. Maintain a positive, professional image in all internal and external communications. Key Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification. Chartered or working towards membership of a recognised institution. Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors. Proficient with NEC3/4 contracts. Experience managing and developing individuals or small teams. Knowledge of CEMAR systems.
