Senior Quantity Surveyor Required In Norwich GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established drylining subcontractor based in Norwich who are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established and dynamic team. Over the past few years, they have become a highly regarded contractor who specialise in Drylining projects across the Commercial, Leisure and Educational sectors. Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Identifying and acquiring new clients and business opportunities, driving growth and profitability. Develop relationships to ensure effective communication is achieved and maintained. Responsible for building relationships with clients through regular telephone conversations and site meetings. Assist the commercial team to produce accurate take-offs and submit tenders in line with business strategy. Some involvement in materials supply packages. Be involved in setting site budgets which will include breaking down subcontractor prices sheets and setting other budgets. Oversee Subcontractor Payment Process alongside Accounts function ensuring all invoices are processed weekly and paid fortnightly. Attendance to a monthly debtors meeting. Prepare regular reports including KPI data for the board illustrating the financial situation of various projects in relation to budgets. Prepare RAMS documentation and deal with customer care issues. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you must have/be:

Strong leadership skills Experience in Drylining or Drywall Decisive Demonstrate energy and drive and be able to motivate others Excellent communication & negotiation skills Team player Organisational skills essential Attention to detail Strategic and forward thinking Well-developed IT skills with the ability to use modern forms of technology and software If you are interested in the Senior Quantity Surveyor role then please get in touch today.
