Due to increased workloads from both new and existing clients, they are seeking a Senior or Associate-level Quantity Surveyor to join the thriving team in Nottingham.

Specialising in delivering bespoke solutions to warehousing & distribution centres, commercial & mixed-use schemes, that drive transformative success across all their projects. Services include strategic planning, operational efficiency, technology implementation, and organisational development—ensuring measurable results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Management : Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial control throughout project lifecycles.

Tender Management : Assist in the preparation, submission, and evaluation of tenders and procurement documentation.

Contract Administration : Manage contract preparation, negotiation, and administration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Value Engineering : Provide strategic advice on cost-effective solutions to meet client objectives without compromising quality or safety.

Measurement and Valuation : Conduct detailed measurements and valuations for variations, claims, and final accounts.

Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Project Reporting : Deliver regular financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, cost analyses, and risk assessments.

Compliance : Ensure adherence to industry regulations, policies, and procedures throughout all project phases.

Qualifications and Experience

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, or an equivalent body (or working towards membership).

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT, NEC, and bespoke agreements.

Proficient in cost management software and other relevant digital tools.

Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.

A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
