Initially providing contractor-side quantity surveying services for a major highways project. Have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience. Have an in depth understanding and experience of contractual and commercial processes. Have contractor post-contract QS experience, taking full responsibility for main contract administration and client engagement. Preferably have a degree in a construction or quantity surveying related discipline. Preferably be a member of a relevant Professional Institution or working towards membership. Have a good working knowledge of NEC forms of contract. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Be client focused and able to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships. Be a self-motivated team player that demonstrates excellent judgement and decision-making skills. Be flexible, positive and engaging, with a desire to learn and develop through exposure to different types of clients and projects. Remuneration and benefits
Up to £65,000 salary (depending on experience/qualifications). Payment of professional fees. 25 days holiday entitlement, with option to buy/sell leave. Company pension scheme. Income protection, life, and personal accident insurance. 37.5 hours per week with flexible working arrangements.
