Salford + hybrid working Salary:

£55,000 to £68,000 per annum DOE + £6700 car allowance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a tier one contractor on CP7 projects, from the value of £7m to £200m. You will be working on two projects in Salford, which include aspects of track and ancillary civils including troughing, piling and retaining walls, on NEC4 contracts.

Due to exceptional growth, my client is looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team. Your duties as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will include: Lead in the ownership of cost controls, managing and supporting the site teams as required. Lead and support the commercial teams in securing maximum sustainable value from contracts. Manage the procurement and of sub-contractors. Deliver profitability, without significant WIP, at the levels expected of your project. Lead in tackling key, commercial, progress or contractual issues with either the Client or Suppliers.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 1 year as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Experience working on multidisciplinary projects within rail. Experience working with NEC forms of contract. Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Chartered by the RICS/CIOB (preferred).
