Senior Quantity Surveyor with groundworks experience wanted for this fast-growing subcontractor based in Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Groundworks and Civil Engineering and will have worked on residential projects at various times in their career. Typical projects include carrying out all aspects of residential groundworks including foundations, roads and adoptable drainage, domestic drainage, sub-structure block/brickwork, structural floors and external works.
To be considered for this position you will need the following experience and skills: Groundworks experience. A degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is desirable. Extensive knowledge of groundworks in a residential setting. Tender pricing and take off. Management of projects. Monthly valuation preparation. Cost control of projects. Procurement & placement of bespoke material costs. Relationship building with subcontractors, design team, and suppliers. A background with groundworks subcontractors would be advantageous.
