We are working with a Tier 1 contractor who needs an experienced Senior QS to join and initially help on a new major scheme in Oxfordshire before working on several new opportunities across the Reading and Oxford areas.
The project is a £55 million new build office scheme including high-spec fit out.
The scheme is on site now and due to finish late 2025, so there is an opportunity to join now and start procurement of the final major packages. You will be running the scheme from a commercial perspective.
The role will be to work with the design and delivery teams to ensure the scheme is delivered on time and to budget for a client that has potentially 2 or 3 more schemes to follow on in a negotiated format should this be a success. You will be working alongside and managing a Project and Assistant level QS on site and have overview and responsibility for the commercial health of the projects including managing sub-contract packages, procurement of materials and plant, remeasure, valuations, payments, managing variation accounts, forecasting, and CVRs.
