This company has a strong national presence and operates through multiple regional offices across the UK. They deliver projects across various sectors, including education, health care, leisure, and commercial, with individual project values reaching up to £40 million.
About this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a national main contractor and lead one of their upcoming projects. In this role, you will oversee the project from pre-construction through to final account and client handover. You will also be responsible for client facing and may have a junior surveyor reporting to you.
Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Be involved in 2nd stage tender process Take ownership of all procurement activities Manage sub-contract packages dealing with any variations and valuations Deal with final accounts Conduct monthly CVRs Support / mentor junior members of staff
Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
HNC / Degree qualified (Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is preferential) Have a proven track record of administering JCT forms of contract (NEC is beneficial) Have managed projects valuing up to £15mil Live within Hampshire and be happy to commute to site / office
