Senior Quantity Surveyor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor on an upcoming project in Swindon. The contractor undertakes projects across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, commercial and extra care ranging in value up to 75mil. The region has grown in presence across the south west and has various live and upcoming schemes in the area.
About this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role will involve managing an upcoming scheme in Swindon which is valued circa 14mil. The project will involve demolition of the existing site and the construction of an SEND school. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager and will have an Assistant Quantity Surveyor working closely with you.
Key responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Involvement in pre-construction activities
Sub-contract procurement
Managing sub-contract packages
Client valuations
Dealing with sub-contractor variations
Final accounts
Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
Construction related degree / HNC
Experience managing projects administering JCT & NEC forms of contract
Live within a commutable distance to Swindon
Have the full right to work in the UK
