Full Time, Permanent A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor! As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the Commercial team on a variety of projects from Education, Healthcare, Leisure, and Defence between £5m - £30m. Duties will include:
Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery. Working alongside the project delivery team to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors. Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement. Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome. To be considered for the role, they would like:
Proven experience as the SQS / Commercial lead working with a regional / national contractor. A good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations. A good knowledge of construction methods and materials. Strong mathematical and IT ability. Negotiating and networking skills. Excellent communication skills. Good team working skills.
