Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a rapidly expanding construction company who are looking to appointment a Quantity Surveyor OR Senior Quantity Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team with a business who deliver a wide variety of projects for major Tier 1 contractors.
The QS/Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
The commercial management of construction projects from start to finish
Managing all financials and contracts to ensure projects are delivered within cost and budget
Pre-contract management and subcontract appointments
Reviewing valuations and applications and managing procurement and payments
Managing risks and leading contract reviews
Leading on dispute resolution
Managing more junior staff in the commercial team
The QS/Senior Quantity Surveyor will need:
Previous experience working as a QS or Senior QS
Construction industry experience in a commercial role
Good experience of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Good communication skills with the ability to influence
Experience of managing and delivering multiple projects
