Control costs and effectively manage budgets. Work with the SMT to develop and set annual business budgets and strategy for development and growth. Ensure the team complies with all Regulations. Develop and improve Commercial Policies. Manage and support projects. Assess and report on commercial aspects of project performance. Understand the requirements of the Customers and ensure that the Project is managed commercially. Effectively manage change and operational efficiency. Manage relationships with key external and internal stakeholders. Ensure Monthly Commercial Reports are completed accurately. Aid with Business Development activities, including assisting with Framework and Bid submission packs. You will be:
Qualified with professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), or Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE), or have significant experience in Utilities. Possessing a comprehensive working knowledge of NEC contracts (ideally 3 and 4), including Options A & C. Able to drive and influence people to work to dates/programme. Able to break complex matters down and communicate concisely and effectively to the Senior Management Team (written and verbal). Having exceptional negotiation, leadership, and communication skills, with an ability to influence through others. Holding a full UK Driving licence. What you'll get in return:
