As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be at the forefront of commercial project management, ensuring the successful financial delivery of schemes including healthcare, education, leisure & more. You'll lead cost control, procurement, and contract management processes, collaborating closely with the project team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Procure subcontract packages and manage supplier relationships. Conduct valuations, variations, and final account negotiations. Ensure adherence to budgets and provide accurate cost reporting. Mitigate risks and maximize project profitability. Provide support and leadership to junior team members.
About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to Healthcare schemes. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with JCT and/or NEC contracts. Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline (RICS accreditation desirable).
