A leading construction company requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager at this exciting time of growth. After 6 months, there is the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager What you will be doing: Work in partnership with site management, commercially supporting sites as required, to develop a proactive team. Ensuring that contractual obligations are identified and administered. Vet contract documentation on receipt from Client to ensure compatibility with the Company's Tender and subsequent negotiations. Produce Commercial Risk Register for each contract. Monitor risk and assist in implementation of agreed mitigation measures. Prepare and issue enquiries for Equipment and Sub-Contract packages. Vet quotations commercially and negotiate price and terms with vendors. Issue resultant Purchase Orders. Prepare and submit Applications for Payment and/or Invoices, obtain Payment Certificates, and progress Client Payments in accordance with contractual provisions. Measure, submit, and agree Variations, Loss & Expense and/or Compensation Events in accordance with contractual provisions to facilitate prompt agreement of Final Accounts. Monitor on-site record keeping. Prepare and issue Notices in accordance with contractual provisions. Prepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations and Cash/Spend Profiles. Attend Contract Review Meetings. Authorisation and coding of Suppliers' and Sub-Contractors' Invoices and submission to Finance for payment. Measure, certify and agree Sub-Contractors interim valuations and final accounts. Prepare and issue contractual notices to Sub-Contractors.

Who we are looking for: A senior quantity surveyor with extensive commercial project experience. Educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying. Member of Profession Institution (e.g. MRICS or similar) - Desirable. Be able to demonstrate commercial awareness/acumen including construction law and contract management.

The Package: £80,000 - £85,000. Company Car. Pension. EAP scheme. 25 Days Holiday plus 8 days bank holidays. Holiday increasing in line with service. Cyle to work scheme plus more.
