Senior RF Engineer - SC Cleared Location: Bristol Daily rate: £600 - £700 per day inside IR35 depending on experience Contract length: 6 months possible extension to 12 months You must be Security Cleared and be a Sole British Citizen Our client is a rapidly growing and dynamic organisation, offering consistently engaging and challenging work. They are looking to take on a Senior RF Engineer on a contract basis for at least 6 months. The work the company and information on what they actually do will be disclosed at interview stage. You will be involved with exposure to advanced technology solutions in specialised projects. Their close, collaborative relationships with clients enable you to work directly with end to end users. Requirements for the role: SC clearance Sole British citizen due to the nature of the work Effectively communicate with clients by offering tailored solutions that address their needs, and clearly articulate the benefits of any approach, both verbally and through technical reports. Designing sensors for RF, microwave, and Millimetre-wave frequencies. Developing and implementing Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications, including RF design. Preparing formal requirement and design documentation. Creating prototypes and pre-production models of equipment. Planning and conducting trials to validate equipment performance. Utilising modern equipment techniques and performing controlled teardowns. Developing AI techniques to analyse data from RF sensors. Applying modern and emerging communication technologies. This role would suit someone who is looking to help develop the next generation of RF Engineers. Someone who is innovative and wants to push the boundaries and mentor the more junior RF Engineers within the team.
