Full time
This is a fabulous opportunity for a Senior Radiographer with Mammography experience to take the next step in your career.

The service includes the Screening & Symptomatic Service based at Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with three mobile vans covering the South Essex area. We screen around 25,000 women per year.

We run three recently refurbished in 2022 & 2023 Mammography rooms with tomosynthesis capacity and 2 Ultrasound rooms, with dedicated waiting areas for screening and symptomatic.

We have 3 mobile screening units operating across South Essex and recently installed remote digital transfer systems from our vans to the base site.

This is an exciting time to join the team as we introduce Contrast Enhanced Spectral Mammography, alongside our current research audits and training programs.

We support ongoing leadership development and developing advanced practitioners. The service has supported the national breast fellowship program and has managed to recruit several graduates to support their ongoing career development.

Southend is also located close to two mainlines into London and an International airport, along with the longest pleasure pier in the UK.

If you are interested in the role and believe you hold the qualities we require, then apply today!
