Undertake CT, MR, general x-ray and support the mammography and ultrasound clinics as required Act as an Operator under the IR(ME)R Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justification of referrals Implement operational policies, processes and guidelines as the business develops. Engage successfully with medical professionals, consultants and GP’s, partnering with them to provide mutual growth and innovation opportunities. Ensure equipment remains safe and fit for purpose through observance of maintenance service arrangements and plant failure procedures. Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, IRMER & IRR17, MHRA and all other such relevant regulations and guidelines as appropriate to the delivery of independent sector imaging services. Qualifications
Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) Radiography (Diagnostic) with a valid HCPC registration Experience
Knowledge of diagnostic imaging, MRI, CT, US, X-ray Mammography, Nuclear Medicine. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Be absolutely patient focused with a drive to offering the highest standard of patient care at all times Extensive post-registration clinical experience (min. 3 years) Evidence of continuous professional development. Supervisory experience, with the ability to manage change Experience in interventional radiology Experience working on GE Imaging equipment Disclosure and Barring Service Check
