Talent Chief are delighted to be working with a recruitment company established for well over 25 years, servicing the South-West with top talent within Engineering and Construction. They have some long-standing relationships with many businesses within the local community and offer a variety of services helping companies across both public and private sectors.

What do they want?

They are currently going through an expansion phase of their business, wherein, in the next few years they will be looking to open in several other locations across the south-west. They are looking for experienced recruiters looking for their bite of the cherry, to help with the plans and carve out a successful, profitable career for themselves. Ideally, they would like someone who already has a background in either construction or engineering in the recruitment world.

What is the job?

You'll join the company as the figurehead for Exeter. You'll be given all the tools to succeed in your role and flourish with an elsewhere-located team of like-minded, service-driven individuals. You'll be writing job adverts from customer briefs you've taken, sourcing and screening candidates, compiling shortlists, arranging interviews and providing feedback, writing offers, and handling the onboarding process with customers.

They foresee the construction market in the southwest flourishing over the next few years, as many projects are being approved and started here. Thus, there will be plenty of roles in the industry to go after and enable the successful applicant a fruitful career with the company.

Ideally, you must be proficient in business development and winning new business. Existing relationships with current industry professionals would be a bonus.

Previous Recruitment Experience - Within Engineering or Construction

A decent network of industry professionals

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Problem-solving ability

Great organisational skills

A team player

Computer-literate

The ability to be office-based

What we offer:
