Do you have a proven track record of running a successful engineering or technical 360 desk?

Do you want to make an extraordinary impact and thrive in an environment that is fast-paced and inclusive?

Do you want to work with a company that invests in state-of-the-art systems, has client relationships spanning 3 decades, and a team of talented and dedicated recruiters and back-office staff to collaborate with?

If the answer is yes, then this is an excellent opportunity to own, develop, and progress your career professionally with the backing of the Millbank brand and experienced leadership team. You'll benefit from comprehensive training and the tools and technological support to make a difference. With the support of experienced colleagues, we will create the perfect career that's right for you.

The Opportunity

Due to our specialist focus on Engineering, Project Management, Operations/Production, and Business Support across industries such as Automotive, Chemicals, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, and Water (to name a few), Millbank is growing and recruiting Recruitment Consultants. From day one, you will be able to support recruitment on the largest construction project in Europe, one of the most prestigious automotive brands, and work with engineering companies where revenues are in their billions and workforces in their thousands. This means you will never be short of opportunities and clients to work with to push your career forward.

Remuneration & Benefits

Your Duties and Responsibilities

Your role will involve building and managing a permanent/contract consulting desk alongside the team. This will include sourcing candidates, negotiating favorable fees with clients, and always maintaining a professional representation of Millbank. Your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of cultivating and nurturing client relationships, working roles, and creating and placing advertisements in line with client specifications. We do have established clients that you will be supporting, but it's key you are comfortable in generating leads and contacting prospects leading to agreeing terms. You will then be assigned as the client lead where your focus will be to deliver on the client's requirements either by working the role end to end yourself or leaning on the team if it's their specialist area. Ultimately, we want to become the client's recruitment partner of choice, and you will play a key role in building the relationship to this level. You will source top-tier candidates, conduct pre-screenings, and present them to clients effectively. You will coordinate interviews, negotiate offers and packages, and ensure our CRM system is up to date with detailed notes. Adhering to legislative and client compliance is essential, as is liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Finally, your role will include achieving and delivering your personal budget in alignment with our overall business strategy.
