The role

The firm is looking for a people-focused Recruitment and Professional Development expert who will report to the Senior Recruitment and PD Manager to coordinate legal recruitment for the London office for associates and paralegals. You will work closely with agencies, partners, and senior stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient running of the firm’s recruitment process as well as support the performance management review process for the lawyers.

This is a dynamic role split between lateral hiring, professional development/training, and touching on graduate recruitment, offering variety and exposure across key areas of talent acquisition.

Meeting regularly with new and lateral paralegals and associates to monitor integration into the firm.

Serving as the main point of contact for recruitment agencies and candidates.

Assisting with the implementation of soft skill training for associates and paralegals in the London office.

Developing strong working relationships with partners, associates, and paralegals, helping to identify and address employee relations issues, escalating as appropriate.

What do you need?

The ideal candidate will have

3+ years of experience

at a global law firm, with significant involvement in recruitment and/or professional development. They must demonstrate strong project management skills, a commitment to diversity, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

This person must be willing to attend Firm-coordinated events and programs to build relationships and gain the confidence and trust of the lawyers and staff.
