The Ipswich Heart Centre has two catheterisation laboratories and a 12 bedded recovery area. You will support the delivery of coronary angiography, rotablation, stenting, cardiac implantable devices, and DC Cardioversions. You will work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team including physiologists, radiographers, medical colleagues and admin staff.

Hours of work are currently between Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7am to 8pm, with a requirement to provide on-call and BH cover. There will be a requirement to work shift patterns to meet the demands of the PCI service which is working towards delivering a 24/7 service.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to develop and deliver excellent clinical care. You need to be enthusiastic, flexible and have excellent communication skills. You also need to have the ability to remain professional under pressure and have excellent leadership skills.

Ideally you will have experience of working within an acute setting, and is responsive to change. If you are an experienced nurse in this area or have a keen interest to pursue a senior role within this field, we would love to hear from you.
