Experienced toxicologist required with agri / agrochemical sector experience. Fast growing agri-biotech business striving to deliver more sustainable crop protection solutions. KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Proven experience over a period of years, backed up by a Degree (or equivalent), in disciplines such as Human Safety & Toxicology, Environmental Fate, Ecotoxicology or similar. Regulatory knowledge of the agriculture and agrochemical domains. The ability to operate at a senior or principal level - entailing duties such as organising and overseeing safety testing and study efforts, future thinking in order to identify issues in advance, executing plans at long-term / strategic level and generally becoming a subject matter expert in the business for regulatory, safety and toxicology related matters. OVERVIEW: This organisation has been a standout success in the world of AgriTech start-ups - coming through the early stage start-up phase to become a fast growing business with significant backing in the tens of millions. Their aim is to develop new and novel - and, most importantly, environmentally sustainable - crop protection solutions to help the agrifood sector combat issues such as nature loss, deforestation and land degradation. An opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Toxicologist at Senior / Principal level, somebody who can be a go-to authority for related matters in the business and, ultimately, contribute to the establishment of new crop protection products that are sustainable and environmentally safe. The successful candidate will therefore need to be somebody possessing a significant amount of experience in toxicology as well as the regulatory side of the agriculture and agrochemical space, capable of leading projects and overseeing staff and resources allocated to these.
