Senior Research and Knowledge Analyst – Law Firm – London (hybrid)
A Senior Research and Knowledge Analyst is currently sought to join the London office of an international law firm.
You will be responsible for researching and providing information, analysis and expertise to all practice areas of the Firm.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Supports complex research and Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives. Performs cost efficient ready reference and in-depth research on legal, corporate and other topics using online and print resources. Analyses legal, corporate and general resources and communicates findings in a clear and concise manner. Creates current awareness and new business alerts. Works to develop and maintain selected practice area databases and websites. Helps plan and implement department outreach, training and orientation programs. Assists with the evaluation and recommendation of new information resources. Deputise for Research Manager regarding research and knowledge services, when required. Qualifications:
This would suit an experienced Legal and Business Knowledge and Information professional, who has worked in a similar Research position within the Information team of another law firm. Your background should include: Master’s degree in library and Information and directly related Research and Information experience. Substantial experience conducting research in a legal or corporate information centre. Expertise in using specialist secondary research tools eg. Lexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, Intelligize, Practical Law, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, etc. Thorough knowledge of legal, business and financial information sources. Understanding of knowledge management principles, technology and best practices.
