Under the guidance of the Data Study Co-ordinator (DSCO), undertake a supervisory role of the Research Data Officer and Assistant Research Data Officer (RDO/ARDO), delegating duties appropriate to their level and in line with their job descriptions. To undertake higher level data management duties to support senior staff in line with job description. To work with the clinical team and lead in the accurate and timely data management of all active research studies within the team, working with external stakeholders to ensure an efficient service whilst always working to current regulatory guidance and Trust Policies and standard operating procedures (SOP's). Main duties of the job

Provide senior oversight of junior members of the data team with support and direction from the DSCO. Under the guidance of the DSCO, undertake a supervisory role of the RDO and ARDO, delegating duties appropriate to their level and in line with their job descriptions. Responsibility for oversight of all data captured and input by junior members of staff, ensuring that any necessary actions are followed up on and quality checks are completed and training needs identified. Qualifications

Educated to diploma level or equivalent demonstrable experience Educated to degree level Experience

Data management or relevant clinical research experience Excellent knowledge and experience of using computerised data systems Experience of working in a demanding environment Experience of working in the NHS Experience of working in a research environment Management and/or supervisory experience Audit and Monitoring experience Practical Skills

Understanding of the clinical research process Microsoft package experience particularly Teams/Excel/Word Supervisory and co-ordination / delegation experience Understanding of medical terminology GCP Experience / trained Disclosure and Barring Service Check
