Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care is desirable Experience:

At least 1 years’ experience relevant to residential care in the last 5 years The Opportunity Excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified candidate to join the team in one of our client's children's residential homes. Our client takes EBD Referrals and the YPs are 6 to 17 on Admission. They specialise in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviours. The Benefits: Competitive pay and sleep-in allowance Enhanced overtime rate of; time and a third Access to the employee wellbeing programme 28 days annual leave entitlement, rising to 33 days with 5 years of service What you will be expected to do: Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures To communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day To provide reports and documentation that reflect the progress of the young person, using our paperless systems and tools To review the young people's care plans and other associated documentation You will also need: To provide positive parenting To have exceptional communication skills To have sound working knowledge of current legislation e.g., Children's Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards) To be open-minded, empathetic in a calm and professional manner Essential Requirements: Must have a full manual driving licence Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent Be willing to participate in further continuing professional development to support the needs of our young people To have a clear passion and desire to support children and young people To be an active member of the team and be committed to working in unison This is a great opportunity to work with a company that offers genuine career progression through its current services and new and developing services across the North West and the Midlands (East and West).
