£37,000 inclusive of sleep-in allowance (average 10 per month) + overtime at time and a third

About the Role: Are you a compassionate and experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Team Leader to join our client’s children’s residential home. You will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people aged 6 to 17 who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may exhibit challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee shifts with Residential Support Workers
Manage risks in accordance with company policies and procedures
Communicate daily plans effectively with your team
Provide detailed reports and documentation using our paperless systems
Review and update care plans and associated documentation regularly
Offer positive parenting and exceptional communication
Stay informed on current legislation, such as the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
Qualifications Required:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care
OR Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma
OR Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner (Residential Pathway)
About You: You are an empathetic, open-minded professional with:
At least 1 year of relevant experience in children's or young adults’ residential care within the last 5 years
A full manual driving licence
A passion for supporting children and young people and a commitment to their development
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
