Empowering our children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem is fundamental to this role. Your influence will be instrumental in helping them realize their potential and fostering a positive outlook. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will take an active interest in each child and young person's individual needs and aspirations. Whether their passions lie in sports, cooking, music, or any other area, you will encourage and facilitate their development, helping them to discover and pursue their interests. You will need: An understanding of Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards. Knowledge of Ofsted procedures and legislation. Ability to lead a team on shift. This role requires a strong character and resolve, as it is demanding and challenging. You will require: NVQ Level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent. Able to work shift patterns and sleep-ins. Two years of experience working in a Children and Young Person's setting. Experience of leading a shift. Full UK driving license.
