15.70 per hour (40 hours per week) + Sleep-ins paid at 70.50 per night Are you passionate about supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)? Do you have leadership skills and experience working in a residential children's setting? Our client is looking for a Team Leader to join their dedicated team in a 2-bedded EBD children's service in Northolt. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care for the children and young people. Work closely with the management team to implement care plans and ensure that the service meets the needs of each child. Take an active role in the day-to-day running of the home, including hands-on care and support. Ensure that the service complies with all regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards. Be responsible for safeguarding, risk management, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the young people in your care. Mentor and guide staff, providing support and supervision to ensure a motivated and skilled team. Shift Pattern: The role involves working early shifts, late shifts, long days, and sleep-ins to meet the needs of the service. Sleep-ins are paid at 70.50 per night. Shifts will be given 1 month in advance Requirements: Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it). Leadership experience in a residential setting is highly desirable. Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies. A genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children.
