What will I do as a Senior Residential Support Worker? Using life skills, you will have the opportunity to make a huge difference in a child’s life. You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support. Within this leadership role, you will not only ensure the welfare and care of each child but also give guidance and support to all residential workers. You will be committed to making a difference, this includes being responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts, ensuring placement plans are followed, policies, procedures, risk assessments, rotas and making sure that education is supported. You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
