Experience in a children's home setting or residential care (essential) A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills Commitment to delivering a high standard of care Excellent personal presentation standards Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team Fluent in English both verbal and written Responsibilities for Senior Residential Support Worker/Team Leader
Assist in the management, development, and delivery of services to children and young people in accordance with safeguarding and caring regulations Lead shifts in the home, allocating tasks and areas of responsibility whilst on shift, ensuring records are completed and that there is a comprehensive handover Deputise in the absence of the registered manager or deputy manager Lead, manage and motivate staff, ensuring high-quality professional supervision and performance development plans are completed which enhance individual's personal and professional development needs and contribute towards the outcomes delivered for children and young people Ensure that services are delivered to the required standards and in accordance with safeguarding and caring regulations Ensure records of incidents are completed promptly and accurately Contribute to the day-to-day care of the children and young people including providing personal, health, social, and domestic care in accordance with their care plans Liaise with service users and families/carers, compiling records of actions and observations, to ensure needs are met through communication and building strong relationships Ensure all information relating to Children and Young People is accurate and up-to-date and that essential record keeping is completed by staff at the end of the shift Maintain accurate records of progress towards the achievement of agreed goals for Children and Young People Administer and record the signing in and out of all medication and always ensure the safe storage of medication in line with the home’s policy Reports to:
