An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our Band 6 rotation scheme. The successful candidate will complete rotations including the following areas:
Acute respiratory medicine including the physiotherapy-led non-invasive ventilation service
Critical care and surgery including head and neck (maxilla-facial and ENT), abdominal (including oesophagogastric, pancreaticohepatic and colorectal surgery), breast and gynae-oncology surgery
Cardiac rehabilitation, Pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory out-patients
Medical rehabilitation including facilitating early supported discharge within A&E and MAU
You should have:
Excellent communication and team working skills
Completed core junior rotations including ITU, Medicine / Elderly care, neurology and orthopaedics
HPC and CSP registration
We actively encourage continuing professional development through clinical supervision and a comprehensive in-service training programme. You will be well supported by an experienced team of lead respiratory physiotherapists including a clinical specialist physiotherapist and a consultant respiratory physiotherapist. You will have the opportunity to develop your senior skills with supervision of juniors and students and involvement in audit and service development.

Previous Senior Experience in Respiratory/Surgery/ICU Experience with line management of junior/non-registered staff i.e., Supervision sessions, goal setting, appraisals Disclosure and Barring Service Check
